This post was meant to be about knitwear. It’s cold outside, so I know I still need to wrap up warm. Maybe I should stop thinking about summer, just for a second. But I’m a free-loving hipster at heart and I don’t want to miss a second of the ’70s anticipation that’s building up right now! So I thought I could mix it up a bit. You know, try putting a cosy, handknit jumper with a high impact floral maxi skirt, or maybe scorch my Scottish roots a-while with a flash of heritage tartan (guaranteed to make you feel at least a little bit wintery, no?!) against a cute ’60s cardigan. There’s room too for pleats, prints and primary colourways. The charming ’70s statement clothes may be a season away, but I say, why wait?! It’s a chance to get all abstract, psychedelic and just a little bit happy. That should keep your mind off the cold!
